We are hosting our first annual Gala, The Currie Heritage Ball, to raise funds for the students at the Calgary Classical Academy Currie Campus. So please come join us for a historical night for the ages. We will be celebrating the rich history that is the Currie Barracks as well as enjoying fantastic people, dinner, drinks and dancing. As part of the fund-raising event, we will be having great opportunities to participate in Silent and Live Auctions, a 50/50 Draw (winner last year won $1,800) and some Raffle Baskets.
Additionally, we will be collecting non-perishable food items on behalf of the Veterans Food Bank of Calgary.

Once again, Rocco Bartolotti, has graciously donated the main ballroom as our venue for the Gala at cost. This is a beyond generous offer from a small local restauranteur, whose children attended the Bridgeland Campus last year. Scarpetta’s brings a little Italy to Calgary using only the best fresh local ingredients. He has one location in NE Calgary and another one opening in the Beltline later this year.
We are thrilled to share that a fabulous local artist, Tresa Gibson, will be donating an oil on canvas painting as part of our auction items. Tresa is recognized for her self-taught unique impressionist style and has been painting for the last 14 years. She runs a fast-paced studio in south central Calgary and you can often find her art on display at the Chinook Saks Fifth Avenue as well as around the world.
We are excited to announce that one of our CCA parents, Aron Klassen, from the LGFG Fashion House will be measuring for the purchase of custom shirts at the Gala and then donating 100% of the proceeds to the Currie Fundraising Society. Some of the clients of LGFG are Jordan B. Peterson (Psychologist), Russell Peters (Comedian) and Alice Cooper (Rock Star) to name a few.
